Mentor Mixers Summer 2017 New York invites hundreds of tech mentors and tech professionals to meet, teach, network, and grab drinks in Brooklyn, NY. There will be four different mixers across two nights twol, each with a different mentorship focus. You must register on Mixrs.co to connect with mentors and attend.
Founders & Developers @ Northern Territory (Tuesday, June 20 | 6 pm – 8 pm): We’re inviting seasoned serial entrepreneurs who have raised funds, investors, and founders who want mentorship about fund raising.
DevOps @ Ramona (Tuesday, June 20 | 6 pm – 8 pm): We’re inviting DevOps & IT Management mentors and professionals to come meet and learn from each other.
Dev Management @ Ramona (Wednesday, June 21 | 6 pm – 8 pm): How does a developer advance his career into becoming a dev manager? What are the different types of dev managers from product management to senior developer to CTO? Learn from your dev management peers at this mixer.
App Development @ Northern Territory (Wednesday, June 21 | 6 pm – 8 pm)): Come grab drinks and meet mentors who can help you on your app development career. Ask about the best technology stack and how to get hired and promoted.): How does a developer advance his career into becoming a dev manager? - DEADLINE NOW: Create your profile on our mentorship app Mixrs.co, and RSVP for the topic you are interested in.
- DEADLINE JUNE 12: Add at least 10 experiences of goals in the “Technology” or “Startups” categories so you can be matched to Mentors.
- DEADLINE JUNE 12: Browse the mentors (and other attendees) and send 10 of them an intro message. You should find relevant contacts that you can meet at the event.
- DEADLINE JUNE 20: Make sure to check your emails for messages from other members. We recommend setting up at least five mentor meetings at the event.
