The annual USA-CEE Digital Services Matchmaking Day connects top CEE Digital/Software talent with American companies (both software/IT firms and non-IT firms) in search of top digital talent.
Digital and software talent in Eastern Central Europe is among the best in the world – at highly-competitive pricing. Dispersed across countries as diverse as Estonia, Poland and Romania, top tech companies from CEE will be in New York to meet digital buyers from US companies. We’ll make sure that you meet the people you want to meet, from across the CEE region, including Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia and Belarus.

Haarlem 2 Harlem International Pitchfest

Silicon Harlem in Harlem, New York and HaarlemValley in Haarlem, Netherlands are having an International Pitchfest. Three startups chosen by each country are selected to present their startup to a panel of experienced judges. Investors will be within the crowd to talk to these startups after the event.

Join us for a panel discussion on user experience, developer experience and methods of improving both, featuring Jade Wang, Jess Rosenberg, Connor Peshek and Ollie Hsieh from Cloudflare, and moderated by Andrew Fitch from Cloudflare. Our panelists will speak about their experiences developing user-facing applications, developer-facing tools, best practices they learned in the process, and future platform features.
There will also be time for food, drink and socializing.

The workshop will consist of two parts: 1) How to implement End-to-End Encryption to keep your product’s data secure from cloud providers, hackers and curious eyes and 2) How to implement a password hashing technique that can’t be breached.
