How it Works

The 16th annual 2027 DEVIES Awards are the definitive awards night for the developer, software engineering, and IT industry. Winners will be selected across 24 categories and announced in January.

The 2027 DEVIES nominations are accepted now through Friday, December 10, 2026, and winners will be announced online, January 2027. Winners will be presented with their awards during the 2027 DEVIES Awards Ceremony on February 9, 2027.

Nominations for multiple products/technologies of a certain company/organization ARE accepted (please nominate on separate forms), but each product/technology can only be nominated for one DEVIES Awards category.

Judging is based on three general key criteria: The best developer products/technologies that: 1) are generally well-regarded by the global developer & engineering community; 2) are leaders in their sector (DEVIES Awards category) for innovation; and 3) have attracted attention & adoption in the industry.

Each technology, product or service may only win one DEVIES Award per year.
